JUNIOR TENNIS
AGES 7 TO 14 YEARS OLD
PURPOSEFUL RECREATION
We believe that all students should have the privilege to learn tennis from a professional tennis instructor, realizing their maximum potential and mastering a sport that is so much a part of their Coachella Valley heritage. Our community supports prestigious professional tennis tournaments and has hundreds of courts for private and public recreational enjoyment.
The youth of the Coachella Valley represent the 60% Caucasian, 30% Hispanic, and 10% Asian base of the year round residents. Many of these students, perhaps as many as 50%, are near or below the poverty line. With the cutbacks in physical education programs in our schools, tennis for these students is a luxury.
EDUCATION
The specific purpose of the organization is to teach tennis as a lifetime recreational and educational sport. Classes are held year round and are available to children ages 7 - 14 regardless of financial status. Our belief is that all students should have the privilege to learn lessons from professional tennis instructors.
Junior Tennis Clinics
Grassroots Junior Tennis offers stroke analysis, stroke production, drills, match play strategy, and sports science. These training methods have produced junior tennis champions in the U.S. and abroad.

Open to all playing skill levels - beginners, intermediates and advanced.
*students may attend as many clinics each week as they like.
ALL RACKETS AND BALLS ARE FURNISHED. T-SHIRTS, TOO!!
*Enrollment is required.
