GRASSROOTS JUNIOR TENNIS

Grassroots Junior Tennis is back….bigger and better than ever. The class location remains at Ruth Hardy park and the focus of the program remains the same….to help kids learn valuable “life lessons” through the sport of tennis.

The innovative teaching approach used to “plant the seed” has been developed by United States Professional Tennis Registry instructor, Kay Butler. Through the sport of tennis, Coach Butler is able to inspire healthy lifestyles, develop social skills and a positive self-image, helping kids grow and flourish in many aspects of their lives.

2023 - 2024 CLINICS  for ages 7 – 14 years
Grassroots Junior Tennis teaches tennis as a lifetime recreation and educational sport.  Classes are available to young adults and children regardless of financial status. 

COST:     No Cost - Classes limited to 25 students. Enrollment is required.
                  Open to all playing skill levels - beginners, intermediates and advanced
                  *students may attend as many classes each week as they like Tuesday, Wednesday and
                         Thursday.  ALL RACKETS AND BALLS ARE FURNISHED.  T-SHIRTS, TOO!!

WHEN:    Tuesday 4:00 to 5:00 pm

                   Wednesday 1:30 to 2:30 pm  

                  Thursday 4:00 to 5:00 pm 

                   Note: Teachers will be on the courts at 3:45 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and
                            1:15 on Wednesdays — students may come early.
